This reversible Op-Art scarf is a brilliant example of the freedom double knitting brings to colorwork. With no need to worry about long floats or tricky twists, double knitting creates a perfect fabric on both sides. This cozy scarf will delight and amaze!

Skill Required: Basic double knitting knowledge required. Long tail or knitted cast on, knit and purl stitches, common increases and decreases, knitting in the round, reading a pattern and charts, binding off.

Skills Learned: Double knitting techniques and strategies.

Materials - Either bring your own or before/during class get 20% off your purchase of the following:

Yarn: 360yds each of 2 contrasting colors of sport weight yarn; recommended: HiKoo Sueno, Quince & Co. Chickadee

Needles: one 24” circular needle or set of straight needles, US size #5, or size needed to achieve a gauge of 23st = 4”

Notions: tapestry needle
