Skills Required: Long tail or knitted cast on, knit and purl stitches, common decreases, pattern reading, binding off.
Materials - Either bring your own or before/during class get 20% off on:
Yarn: 250yds of worsted weight yarn
Needles: two 24” circular needles size US 6, or size needed to get gauge of 5sts/1”
Pattern - Purchase Required: Knitting Pure and Simple #9728 Beginner’s Socks pattern. (Available electronically and print-on-demand at Twisted. Also available electronically directly from Ravelry.com, however class discount does not apply to materials not purchased via Twisted.)
Homework: Students MUST do a gauge swatch with your yarn and needles to ensure you’re achieving a gauge of 5st = 1”.
