A plush brioche cowl finishes the distinctive eight-point cabled yoke of this snuggly pullover. Gentle A-line shaping makes Riptide comfortable and easy to layer. Knit in chunky-weight Quarry with circular construction, this sweater will fly off the needles.
1300 (1400, 1585, 1685, 1910, 2015) yards of chunky weight wool yarn
7 (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Quarry (100% American Targhee-Columbia wool; 200 yards/100g)

14 stitches & 21 rounds = 4" in stockinette stitch with Size A needle(s), after blocking
11* stitches & 34 rounds = 4" in Brioche Rib with Size A needle(s), after blocking
Note that for Brioche Rib, each elongated stitch in a column of knit stitches represents two rounds; when you count these it will appear that 17 rounds = 4"
Size A (for Main Fabric)
One each 16", 24" and 32" circular needles and one set of double-pointed needles (DPNs) in size needed to obtain gauge listed
Suggested Size: 6.5 mm (US 10.5)
Size B (for Ribbing)
One 32" circular needle and one set of DPNs, two sizes smaller than Size A
Suggested Size: 5.5 mm (US 9)
32" circular needle can be used instead of DPNs if using the Magic Loop method for working small circumferences in the round (i.e., Sleeves).
